Music: The Amity Affliction - Chasing Ghosts

I have been OBSESSED with the Amity Affliction's previous album Youngbloods; it's probably been the album I've listened to the most in my life and got me to work and back for about two years (maybe the cause of some of my public transport rage issues?!) Their third studio album, Chasing Ghosts was released recently on the 7th of September and will be supported soon by a tour. Amity are just as amazing live so make sure you check out both the album and their live show!!

Man of the day: Matt Bomer

I'm a bit reluctant to share my current man of the day, as I'm a bit obsessed with him and I don't want to share. Unfortunately for myself and the rest of the world, he has a partner and three children - but there's no harm in looking!

I liked him as Bryce Larkin in Chuck, but it's only since I've been imagining him as my Christian Grey (don't judge) and after seeing him in Magic Mike (hellooooo Ken!) that I've fallen in love. He even makes an appearance in Glee as Blaine's older brother- meaning he can sing, act and dance...sigh!

Hi readers! I know I've been a bit quiet lately; alas my job and life in general has been getting the better of me. It's always hard to think of what my next feature should be after not posting for a while, so I thought what better way to break the silence than with a song?!

I have to say that the Abercrombie & Fitch video is still my favourite YouTube version of Somebody That I Used to Know (wonder why??) though Gotye's own compilation of YouTube covers is now a close second.

I'm loving the current Dior Croisette summer collection. While it may not be summer on this side of the world, this collection provides some brightness on an otherwise dreary winter's day. My favourite piece from the collection is the vernis shade in Saint-Tropez (blue)

It's always exciting when a new beauty brand hits our shores, and ck one color is the latest international arrival.

Featuring sleek and modern packaging, the collection includes a great range of products in wearable shades, all with a great, long lasting formulation. The range is divided into three simple categories: "Look Real" (foundation, concealer and powder), "Define Yourself" (mascara, brow pencil, eyeliners, eyeshadow base, illuminator, bronzer, blush and lip pencil) and finally "Add Intensity" (eyeshadow, gloss eyecolor, lipstick, lipgloss, nail varnish and treatment lipkit).

One of my favourite products from the range is the 3 in 1 foundation, which is a serum, primer and foundation. I also love the color + treat lipkit as it includes a lip scrub, soothing balm, plumper, lip color and gloss all in one handy compact- such a great idea!
